Less is more
Ruthensis is very intense in taste. Therefore, we recommend starting with a very small amount.
Do not boil
Ruthensis should not be cooked for long to achieve an optimal taste experience. Add just before the end or after preparation and leave to infuse for a moment.
Freeze
Fresh Rosmarinus Ruthensis can be frozen and kept for up to 2 months. The freezing process makes the flavor even more intense.
Almost like regular rosemary
Recipes containing rosemary can also be prepared with Ruthensis instead of Rosmarinus officinalis. However, Ruthensis is more intense in flavor, and should be used in comparatively small amounts. In this way, a unique taste experience is obtained with ease.
But more versatile
salads
sauces
meat
Potato dishes
Cheese dishes
pizza
pasta
Apple pie
Ice cream
Liqueur
Schnapps
Summer truffle
And what do you use it for?
Sweets
Ruthensis pairs very well with sweets.
Our favorite
Our absolute favorite is Ruthensis ice cream. Finely chop one gram of ruthensis, heat it in a little butter and then mix it into the ice cream. Then put it back in the freezer for an hour or two, and it's ready to enjoy.
